Common questions

My iPhone requests aren't being answered

Your Mac does the work. Make sure it is awake and signed in to the same iCloud account as your iPhone, open CutWrap on the Mac, and check that iPhone is turned on in the sidebar. Requests wait safely in iCloud Drive until the Mac picks them up.

Which Macs does CutWrap run on?

A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 15 or later. CutWrap AI, the built-in assistant, needs about 2–5 GB of free space for its one-time download.

Do I need a Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini account?

No. CutWrap AI is built in and free. If you already pay for Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, you can sign in to it inside CutWrap and use it for deep research, at no extra cost from us.

Where are my finished videos?

In the folder you chose in Settings › Storage & backup › Where your Media is saved (this Mac, iCloud Drive or an external drive). The Library shows every video with its folder.

Nothing posted to my account

CutWrap posts only what you approve. Open Posts, check the account is connected, then press Post it. YouTube and Facebook schedule on their side; the others post from your Mac at the chosen time, so leave it awake. In a business project, an account you set to "Posts on its own" posts within the daily limit in your Rules.

Dictation or voice mode doesn't hear me

Allow the microphone and Speech Recognition for CutWrap in System Settings (Mac) or Settings (iPhone) › Privacy & Security.

Moving to a new Mac

Each licence is for one Mac. Email us from your purchase address and we'll move it.

How do I connect Meta Muse, ChatGPT or Grok?

In the assistant, find CutWrap in its connectors and press Connect. A CutWrap sign-in page opens: on your Mac, open CutWrap › Bots, pick the assistant, press Sign-in code and type the 8-character code (it works once, for 10 minutes). The assistant can then do only what you allow in Bots › Permissions - posting, email and spending stay off until you turn them on. Switch it off there at any time and its access stops at once.

Is my work backed up?

Turn on Settings › Storage & backup › Your Work. Boards, plans, scripts and documents are locked on your Mac with your recovery code and copied to your iCloud Drive every half hour. Keep the recovery code safe - nobody, including us, can open the backup without it.

Found a security problem?

Please email support@cutwrap.com with "Security" in the subject and how to reproduce it. We reply within 3 business days, fix confirmed problems as a priority, and won't take action against good-faith reports.

Refunds

App Store purchases are refunded by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For the Mac app bought on cutwrap.com, email us within 14 days.
